What I'm working on now

I live in Minnesota with my kid and a brilliant entomologist. We seek to decarbonize our household.

During the week, I lead engineers and engineering managers who are building resilient socio-technical systems. I attempt to lead with a transformational and adaptive style. I coach and mentor people using lenses such as negotiation, linguistics, neurodiversity, communities of practice, and more.

Twice a month, I facilitate Resilience Coffee, a virtual meetup discussing resilience engineering.

I am a trained Ally Skills Workshop facilitator, a certified Disability-Inclusive Mentor, and trained in Mental Health First Aid. I am a member of the Resilience Engineering Association and the Resilience in Software Foundation.

I serve as Treasurer for SPNN (Saint Paul Neighbor Network).
